What Local Businesses Say About Our Fleet Work
Live reviews from our Google Business Profile, focused on commercial and fleet work.
What a Neglected Fleet Costs You
Company vehicles are the part of your business that customers see before they meet anyone from it. A van that pulls into a client's driveway carrying six months of road film has already made an impression, and no amount of work done afterward fully undoes it.
There is a second cost that shows up later. Vehicles that are washed badly or rarely age faster: bonded contamination sits on the paint, oxidation sets in on horizontal panels, and interiors that are never properly cleaned wear at the contact points. That lands at lease return or resale, on every unit at once.
How Fleet Detailing Works in Raleigh
Fleet work is a logistics problem before it is a detailing problem. The vehicles are in use, they are rarely all in the same place at the same time, and every hour one spends being cleaned is an hour it is not earning. So the service is built around your schedule rather than ours: we come to the site, we work through the units in place, and nothing gets sent anywhere.
We arrive with our own water and power, which on a commercial site removes the two arrangements that usually have to be made in advance. No spigot, no outlet, no facilities request.
Scheduling around the operation
Most fleets are cleanest to service when they are parked, which for many businesses means early morning, evening or weekends rather than mid-day. We agree a window that fits when your vehicles are actually on site, and we keep to it, because a fleet schedule that slips is worse than no schedule.
What each vehicle gets
The principle we work to is consistency: every unit in the fleet receives the same service on the same visit, so the fleet ages evenly and no vehicle becomes the one that is always the worst.
Wraps and lettering
A wrapped vehicle is not a painted vehicle with graphics on it. Vinyl behaves differently from paint: it is softer, the edges and seams are where it fails, and the things that shorten its life are heat, pressure and aggressive chemistry rather than ordinary road dirt. Washing a wrap the way you would wash paint lifts edges and dulls the surface, and on a fleet that mistake is repeated across every unit at once. Wrapped fleets are handled with that in mind, with attention to the seams and the edges around door handles, panel gaps and mirrors, where lifting starts and where it is cheapest to catch early.
Recurring rather than reactive
The difference between a fleet on a schedule and one that gets cleaned when someone complains is mostly cost. Vehicles cleaned on an interval need less work each time, because contamination never gets long enough to bond and interiors never reach the state where soil is embedded rather than sitting on the surface. A reactive fleet pays for restoration repeatedly. A scheduled one pays for maintenance.
Insurance and site access
We are insured, and most detailers working in this market are not. If your site requires check-in, badging or a specific gate, tell us at quote stage and it becomes part of the schedule rather than a problem on the first morning.
What we do not do is bodywork, mechanical work or graphics replacement. If a wrap is lifting or a panel is damaged we will tell you and photograph it, which on a fleet is often the first anyone hears of it.
Fleet Work Around the Triangle
Why Triangle Businesses Put Us on the Schedule
Nothing leaves the yard
We come to the site with our own water and power. No vehicle is taken out of service, no driver spends an afternoon at a wash, no facility arrangements are needed.
Insured, with paperwork
Most detailers working here are not insured at all. We are, and we can provide a certificate before anyone arrives on your property.
The same service on every unit
Every vehicle on the visit gets the same treatment, so the fleet ages evenly instead of producing one van nobody wants to drive.
A window that fits the operation
Early, late or weekend, whenever your vehicles are actually parked. A schedule that slips is worse than no schedule, so we hold the one we agree.
We tell you what we find
Working through every unit on a route means we see the lifting wrap and the new dent before anyone else does, and we photograph both.
How a Fleet Account Gets Set Up
Fleet size and frequency
Tell us how many vehicles, what types, and how often. Those three answers are enough for a per-vehicle number without anyone visiting.
Site walk, if it helps
For larger fleets we will come and look at the yard, the parking layout and the access. Smaller fleets usually do not need it.
Schedule and paperwork
We agree the service window, sort out any site access requirements, and provide a certificate of insurance before the first visit.
First service
The first visit takes longest, because vehicles that have never been on a schedule need bringing up rather than maintaining.
Recurring visits
After that the route settles into a rhythm. Each visit is shorter than the first, and you get photographs of anything that needs your attention.
How Much Does Fleet Detailing Cost in Raleigh, NC?
Fleet work is priced per vehicle, and the per-vehicle number depends on three things rather than on the size of your business.
Vehicle type is the first: a sedan, a cargo van and a box truck are different amounts of surface and different amounts of interior. Frequency is the second and it moves the number most. Vehicles on a weekly or biweekly schedule need maintaining rather than restoring, so the per-vehicle time falls once the fleet is caught up, and the price should reflect that. Fleet size is the third, because a route with a dozen units in one yard is more efficient than a handful of units across several sites.
Expect the first visit to cost more than the recurring ones if the fleet has not been on a schedule. That is the catch-up, and it happens once. Tell us the vehicle count, types and frequency and we will come back with a per-vehicle number and a proposed schedule.
